My name is Robert Walsh and I am a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics Education at the University of Georgia in Athens. I have previously earned undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and in Math Education, with coursework from California State University - San Marcos and UGA. Alongside my studies, I teach ESOL Mathematics locally at Clarke Central High School, where I am entering my third year. Additionally, I coach Varsity Women's Soccer and I am a Youth Apprenticeship Facilitator in the CCHS School-to-Career Department.

My past endeavours include spending several years touring the country playing music in support of a recording contract with Twin/Tone Records. I have also had extensive experience managing bars and clubs in the Minneapolis and San Diego areas. Independently, I have done event coordination for art shows, festivals, weddings and other events. During these times, I have also managed to feed my passion for travel with trips throughout Europe, Armenia, Peru and with exception to Alaska, every state in the U.S.

Beyond the classroom, my current interests include playing tennis, disc golfing, floral design, and continue to include music and travel. I am always willing to try new and different things to quench my desire to lead a diverse and fruitful life.
